Ziplining in La Salle County

Zip Chicago Canopy Tours in Marseilles, IL

Zip Chicago Canopy Tours is located at The Cliffs Off Road Park just outside of Marseilles, IL.
This is one of the highest, longest, tours in Illinois and Wisconsin.

That’s me!  I still can’t believe I did it!

The Full Tour includes 6 ziplines, each up to 1,000′ long. It also features 2 suspension bridges with a total of 150′ of bridges. The tours are professionally guided. Two guides assist every ten thrill seekers.

It was amazing to zip through the tree canopy and reach speeds of 50 miles per hour.

There were two rope bridges and light hiking between the ziplines. When your feet are not on the ground you are tethered to a line at all times for safety.  Two cables secure you to the line. They hold you while you zip across canyons and through the trees. They also hold you while you are on the rope bridges.

The full tour took just over an hour and a half.

I was fortunate to have this experience with my friends from the La Salle County Tourism Coalition.  This group works hard to ensure that people know about all of the fantastic things to do in our area.
