Here I will talk about tips and trends in nonprofit operations and destination and event marketing.  This blog is separate from The Backyard Tourist, which will be more about great places to travel.

I love nonprofits, historic sites, house museums, historical societies and small businesses.

Marketing smaller destinations and businesses is often left to volunteers. These volunteers or staff members already have too much to do. Operations people are often over-tasked. Finding efficient ways to manage people and projects saves time. And time is one of the most valuable things nonprofits have.

At A Muse, it’s my mission to educate people. I help organizations function better. I find new revenue streams through innovative events. I also simplify the entire marketing process.
